Ben Raison, PMP
Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ben Raison earned his Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical from Lakehead University. He began his career working as a junior engineer in the utilities sector with focus on projects related to power generation, transmission, and distribution.
Ben transitioned to project management and consulting on First Nations energy and infrastructure projects. Since 2016, Ben has supported Opiikapawiin Services with activities related to the Wataynikaneyap Project including project management & coordination, corporate/organizational support, regulatory advising, and others as required.
Ben leverages his knowledge of industry and policies to make value-added recommendations. Ben is able to simplify and present complicated information to all types of stakeholders as well as oversee team performance, and enforce relevant guidelines, schedules, budgets, and goals.

Mitchell Malcolm, P.Eng, GSC
Mitchell Malcolm was born and raised in Thunder Bay and earned his Bachelor of Engineering – Civil from Lakehead University. He spent his first several years in the heavy civil construction sector managing heavy civil and infrastructure construction projects throughout Ontario sized upwards of $60 million.
Mitchell has comprehensive expertise in all areas of construction from estimating to closeout. After returning to Thunder Bay in 2018, he has managed large scale infrastructure developments and led teams in engineering, construction, and operations.
Mitchell’s varied infrastructure experience includes but is not limited to heavy civil, telecommunications, and asset management. He is able to confidentially analyze information, make informed decisions and is able to identify creative and effective solutions to maximize resources and revenue.
